About East Memphis KiwanisEast Memphis Kiwanis Club supports the Memphis community by serving the needs of children. We support Key Clubs in various high schools, a Terrific Kids program at Richland Elementary School, the Commission on Missing and Exploited Children, Youth Villages, Hope House, and a number of other worthwhile projects for children. Our fundraising projects include an annual Million Dollar Hole In One Golf Shoot-out, a fishing rodeo for Youth Villages, and a pancake breakfast in conjunction with Downtown Memphis Kiwanis Club. The present East Memphis Kiwanis Club is the result of a merger between East Memphis Kiwanis Club (chartered in 1947) and Poplar-Ridgeway Kiwanis Club (chartered in 1990).
